At approximately 2:26 a.m. on May 8, Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded to 5450 Inglis Street, a 15 unit dwelling. Flames were coming from the roof. Police and Fire will be on scene for much of the morning and people are asked to avoid the area as Inglis Street is closed from Tower Road to Victoria Road. Surrounding side streets are also closed. Members of the public are asked to not drive over the hoses that are running down the street and sidewalks along Inglis Street as this could damage the hoses.
