Correction to July 7, 2018 good Samaritan media release
The release disseminated on July 7 in relation to property found by a Good Samaritan incorrectly identified the vehicle as Armour Transport. The vehicle was actually an Independent Armored Transport van. Police apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Halifax Regional Police is requesting assistance from the public in locating a Good Samaritan who was in the area of the Wyse Road Shopping Center in Dartmouth, at approximately 4:30 p.m., on July 7. Two bags were dropped from an Independent Armored Transport van and the occupants were unaware that bags had been dropped. A Good Samaritan, a man pushing a stroller, attempted to flag down the occupants of the vehicle
Police and Independent Armoured Transport are asking the man or anyone who may know this Good Samaritan to contact police at 902-490-5016.
