On July 21, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a man who had been hit with a baseball bat in the 10-20 block of Alma Crescent in Halifax. A man was located on scene who had suffered a non-life-threatening injury as a result of the incident. A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene and both the suspect and the victim are known to one another. The investigation is still ongoing by members of both the Patrol Division and General Investigation Section.
