Police Continue to Investigate Murder of Florence Ann Keeble

This coming Sunday is the fortieth anniversary of the murder of Florence Ann Keeble and investigators with the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the case.

On October 30, 1976, police responded to a report from two hunters who located a body in the woods approximately 350 yards off the Old Sambro Road, west of Rockingstone Road. Upon police arrival, the victim, 17-year-old Florence Ann Keeble, was discovered. Her death was later determined to be a homicide. Police believe there are people who have information that could result in an arrest and possible charges.
