On September 10 at 9:22 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a call about a vehicle that was on the golf course at Brightwood Golf Course. Officers located a vehicle on the 16th hole that had became hung up on an embankment. The driver was arrested after the investigation revealed that he was not there for nighttime round of golf. A 30-year-old man will be attending court at a later date to face an impaired driving charge, driving with a blood alcohol over the legal limit and property damage. The damage to the golf course was confined to a small area of the 16th green.
