Police were assisting Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency with a structure fire in the 600 block of the Bedford Highway. Traffic was closed along the Bedford Highway between Larry Uteck Blvd and Lodge Drive, in both directions.
Update: The Bedford Highway has since been reopened to vehicle traffic.
