The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will take place over the next few weeks on Spring Garden and Coburg roads.
Construction will take place at the following times and locations:
- Spring Garden Road between Robie and Carlton streets from Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 1 at 6 a.m. and again overnight Monday, Oct. 1 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Coburg Road (northern section, near the Scotiabank building) between Edward and Robie streets will be closed from Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 1 at 6 a.m. and again overnight Monday, Oct 1 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 2 and lasting until Tuesday, Oct. 16, it will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- Coburg Road (southern section, near St. Andrew’s Church) is currently closed, and will remain closed until Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.

Chemins Spring Garden et Coburg - Fermetures de routes
La Municipalité régionale d'Halifax avise les résidents et les automobilistes que des travaux routiers auront lieu au cours des prochaines semaines sur les chemins Spring Garden et Coburg.
Les travaux auront lieu aux heures et emplacements suivants :
- Sur le chemin Spring Garden entre les rues Robie et Carlton à partir du vendredi 28 septembre à 21 h jusqu'au lundi 1er octobre à 6 h et à nouveau le lundi 1er octobre de 20 h à 6 h.
- Le chemin Coburg (partie nord, près de l’édifice de la Banque Scotia) entre les rues Edward et Robie sera fermé du vendredi 28 septembre à 21 h jusqu'au lundi 1er octobre à 6 h et à nouveau le lundi 1er octobre de 20h à 6 h. Du mardi 2 octobre au mardi 16 octobre, le chemin Coburg sera fermé tous les soirs à partir de 21 h jusqu'à 6 h.
- Le chemin Coburg (partie sud, près de l’église Saint-André) est actuellement fermé et restera fermé jusqu’au mercredi 31 octobre à 19 h.
L'accès aux piétons et aux urgences sera maintenu.
Les automobilistes sont invités à utiliser un itinéraire alternatif dans la mesure du possible.
