Last night police charged two men for possession and trafficking a controlled substance resulting from a search of a Halifax residence.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m. members of the Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit along with members of the West Division Quick Response Unit searched a residence in the 200 block of Main Street in Halifax. A quantity of Hydromorphone pills, marihuana and cocaine was seized.
A 49-year-old Halifax man and a 50-year-old Boutiliers Point man were both charged with possession of and trafficking in a controlled substance. Both men are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.
