Halifax Regional Police is investigating details of a stabbing in Dartmouth last week.
On June 25, police received a report of a man who had been stabbed on June 23 in the area of Victoria Road and Nantucket Avenue in Dartmouth. The man was walking in the area between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. when he was approached by a number of youths and asked if he had money, cigarettes or marihuana. The victim advised that he didn’t and was subsequently assaulted and poked with a knife by one of the suspects.
The suspects are described as 13-16-year-old black males and one 13-16-year-old black female. These are not the same suspects arrested for a June 18 stabbing in Dartmouth as they were in custody at the time of this incident.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing, however, the victim doesn’t want further involvement of police.
