Police investigating robbery

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on December 17, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Irving located at 5450 Inglis Street in Halifax. A male entered the business with a hand gun and demanded cash from the employee who was working. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8”- 5”10”, medium build, black scarf covering his face from the nose down, wearing a grey hoodie with Old Navy across the chest, and jeans. K-9 attempted to track him with negative results. Members with the General Investigation Section are investigating.
