At approximately 2:50 a.m. on December 20, Halifax Regional Police responded to an assault at the Cheers Bar & Grill, located at 1743 Grafton Street in Halifax. A 28-year-old man was assaulted and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did locate and arrest a 30-year-old man from Halifax. He will be facing charges of assault causing bodily harm and breach of undertaking. The investigation is on-going at this time.
