UPDATE: Vernon Ferguson, who was reported missing earlier tonight, has been located safe and sound. Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 67-year-old Halifax man who was last seen at 1:25 p.m this afternoon leaving the QEII health sciences centre located at 1796 Summer Street in Halifax. He was reported missing to police around 3 p.m.
He is described as a white man, 6 tall', 230 lbs, with gray and brown hair, wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a green long sleeve shirt and dark blue jeans.
There is no information to suggest that he's met with foul play, however, there are concerns for his well-being.
Officers request that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
