Police investigate a robbery at an ATM GO#19-69345

On May 18, 2019 at approximately 1:23 p.m., police were called to a bank at 93 Portland Street, Dartmouth for a report of a robbery at the ATM. A woman, the victim, was getting money from the ATM when she was approached by a woman, the suspect, who asked for money for a taxi. The woman victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect then demanded more money. The suspect then began pushing the victim. The suspect indicated there was a weapon in a car parked outside the bank. No weapons were seen by the victim. The suspect then fled the bank in a white older model vehicle that was driven by a man. The victim did not report any injuries.

The woman suspect was described to police, as a black female in her late 20’s, small build and around 5’4” tall, appeared to be pregnant and was wearing a black zip up hoodie with multi-colour patterned tights.  The driver was described as a male in his 20’s wearing a hoodie with the hood up.
