Motion:
That the Board of Police Commissioners for the Halifax Regional Municipality forward the report dated April 18, 2024 to Regional Council for information.

Motion:
That the Board of Police Commissioners for the Halifax Regional Municipality:

1. Waive section 15 of Administrative Policy One, requiring a staff report from the Chief either the Chief or Policy Advisor to the Board; and

2. Convene to in camera to consider nominations to the 2024 Canadian Association of Police Governance Award for Excellence in Police Governance, in the following “Categories of Excellence”:

   a. Staff Award;

   b. Director Award; and

   c. Partnership & Leadership Award.
