Beginning on March 1, 2024, residents of the municipality can register to run for a position on Regional Council (i.e. for Mayor or Councillor) or as a Member of the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) in the 2024 Municipal and CSAP Election.
When residents register with the Election Office to become a candidate, their name, the position they’re running for, their official agent (if applicable) and the date of their registration is made public (below) in accordance with By-law C-1100 Respecting Campaign Financing.
Those registered to run become official candidates during the nomination period.
