    Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this weekend in Dartmouth.

    Halifax Regional Police have issued a summary offence ticket for failing to comply with the regulations set out in the Health Protection Act. On October 5 police responded to a private fitness facility in Dartmouth in relation to a report that a man refused to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask when requested to do so by staff. Officers issued the man a summary offence ticket under section 71 (1) (b) of the Health Protection Act for failing to comply with the act and its regulations which carries a fine of $2,422.

    The Halifax Regional Municipality is reminding residents that the weekly green cart collection service ended for the summer season on Saturday, Oct. 2. Green cart collection service returned to every two weeks on Monday, Oct. 4.
