ENUPDATE: At 6:40 p.m. on January 24, Nova Scotia Power took over traffic control responsibilities. Nova Scotia Power advised as of 9: 30 p.m. traffic will remain blocked on Braemar Drive for another four to six hours. Police have issued a Summary Offence Ticket to a 64-year-old woman from Dartmouth for following too closely under the Motor Vehicle Act.

ENAt 12:20 a.m. on January 24, Halifax Regional Police responded to a physical altercation with one male injured by a hatchet in an apartment, in the 2300 block of Gottingen Street in Halifax. Patrol officers located a 36-year-old man from Halifax, with non-life-threatening injuries, in one apartment.
