    At approximately 9:10 p.m. on March 5, Halifax Regional Police officers attended the Subway on Alma Crescent in Halifax in relation to a hold-up alarm. Upon arrival it was learned that two male youth stole an undetermined amount of money from the tip jar. Upon police arrival both of the youth were taken into custody and will be appearing in youth court later today. The youth are facing charges of robbery, assault causing bodily harm and assault.

    Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who approached a girl in late February in Dartmouth.

    At 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, Halifax Regional Police went to an apartment building in Dartmouth to the report of a man armed with a knife. Officers arrested the 21-year-old man who is charged with criminal mischief and will be making a future court appearance.

    Halifax Regional Police responded to an armed robbery where a man entered an establishment, produced a knife and demanded the money from the clerk. The man is described as a tall, white male wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans. The matter is currently being investigated.

    A 19-year-old male is being held for court and is being charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapons dangerous, resist arrest and causing a disturbance after a stabbing in the early morning of Sunday, March 4 in downtown Halifax.
