Motion: 
That the Board of Police Commissioners for the Halifax Regional Municipality review the proposed workplan, as presented in Attachment 1 of the staff report dated February 20, 2025, and provide direction for the addition, deletion or amendment of workplan items and that a revised workplan be brought forward at a future meeting.

11.1 Commissioner Mancini - Violence Occurring on Halifax Transit Buses and Terminals [PDF]
Motion:
That the Board of Police Commissioners request an information report identifying:

a. The number of Halifax Transit reported violence events in 2022, 2023 and 2024;

b. The number of violent events in each of the three years involving attacks on Halifax Transit operators;

c. The number of times in each of the three years that Halifax Regional Police responded to issues of transit violence on buses, ferries and

d. Whether any consideration of periodically placing of Halifax Regional Police sworn officers on Halifax Transit bus routes with the highest ridership.
