Today marks the 14th anniversary of the murder of Tanya Jean Brooks and the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.

Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Search and Rescue are in the area of Kidston Lake conducting a search for missing 44-year-old Joseph Lauren Veinot. We are asking the public to remain out of the area to allow the search to be conducted.
