ENHalifax Regional Police have issued a summary offence ticket for failing to comply with the regulations set out in the Health Protection Act. On October 5 police responded to a private fitness facility in Dartmouth in relation to a report that a man refused to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask when requested to do so by staff. Officers issued the man a summary offence ticket under section 71 (1) (b) of the Health Protection Act for failing to comply with the act and its regulations which carries a fine of $2,422.
