The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents of the following municipal service levels in effect over the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

At approximately 2:50 a.m. on December 20, Halifax Regional Police responded to an assault at the Cheers Bar & Grill, located at 1743 Grafton Street in Halifax. Police did locate and arrest a 30-year-old man from Halifax. He will be facing charges of assault causing bodily harm and breach of undertaking. The investigation is on-going at this time.

At approximately 3:18 a.m. on December 16, Halifax Regional Police responded to a break & enter in progress in the 6100 block of Duncan Street in Halifax. Police located and arrested an adult male and an adult female outside the residence.
