Highland Park Junior High School Park Basketball Court Project
Highland Park Junior High School Park’s basketball court (3479 Robie Street) was chosen as the recipient of a grant from the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Foundation (MLSE) in cooperation with the Giants of Africa to receive a significant upgrade.
The basketball court will be significantly upgraded – including the replacement of asphalt surfaces with a painted acrylic surface as well as new basketball nets and backboards. Work will also include new bleachers, an accessible entrance, new fencing and potentially new lights.
Construction of the court is planned between April – June 2025.
The ribbon cutting ceremony and youth basketball clinic is tentatively planned for the last week of June 2025. Please check back here for details.
